Three Facts About Me
I have lots of hobbies and it’s a struggle to choose what to commit myself to! Currently my focus is on writing, reading and blogging, although I also do sewing and crafting sprints once in a while.

I have a very minimal bookshelf and I read a lot of books in a digital format (primarily ebooks, though some audiobooks as well.) I save a lot of money on books by borrowing from the library.

I have a very adorable dog (they call him a mini pinscher but I think he has some chihuahua in him) who still has a lot of energy despite being 14+ years old!

What is the last book that made you cry?

It’s actually the book that I’m reading right now LOL. I really love this series and how it’s full of both suspenseful and heartwarming moments.
How many books do you have on your TBR?
OH boy. Hahaha. According to Goodreads, I have 220 books on my TBR. That being said, I’ve lost interest in some of these books and likely won’t be reading them. I’d have to go through the list and do a thorough clean-up! (It’s always easier to add to our TBR than to take books away, isn’t it??)

Would you rather only be able to reread books or only be able to read new books?
I love rereading books because it gives me another chance to enjoy old favourites. Because of my bad book memory, often I will have forgotten most of the plot by the time I reread, which means rereading is as enjoyable of an experience as reading a great book for the first time! Also rereading almost guarantees that I will enjoy a book because I know that I’ve enjoyed it before.
That being said I don’t think I can let go of the opportunity to read new books. Also I think that as the years go by and society/culture shifts, this is reflected in the books that are published too. For example, female gender roles have really changed over the years and it shows when you read a book from decades ago. I want to stay current with the times! Because of these reasons I would choose to read only new books.
What was your reading goal for 2019 2020? Did you reach it yet?
Ahahahhaa…. This goes to show how long it’s been since I’ve been nominated 😂

My reading goal for 2020 is 40 books, and according to Goodreads I am on top of it so far!
What is your favourite book quote?
Oh boy! This is tough for me because I can barely remember the plot and character names in a book, never mind specific quotes! 😂

Since I’ve been reading the Mysterious Benedict Society series recently, here is one from the first book that I liked:
“Remember the White Knight.”
― Trenton Lee Stewart, The Mysterious Benedict Society

My Questions
- What is your Goodreads goal this year, and are you on track?
- What do you think about readathons?
- Do you ever DNF books?
- Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you choose which books to review?
- What is one of your goals in 2020 that is not related to reading or blogging?
I nominate these awesome people!
