Hello everyone!
I am SO excited to do The Waffle Book Tag today!! How can I not be? The graphics are SO lovely and to be honest, they make me want to eat waffles hahaha.
Thanks to Caro @ The Bookcheshire Cat for this tag!! Please check out Caro’s blog. She is so very sweet and her blog is amazing! Also, thank you to the amazing Kat @ Novels & Waffles for creating this tag and making these gorgeous graphics. Be sure to check out Kat’s blog as well (it is honestly goals!!)
When I do a few of these tags in a row, I realize that I tend to repeat many of the same books again and again (usually the books that I’ve read and loved recently.) So… today I want to switch it up and talk about some of the books that I haven’t talked about enough!

The Rules
- Link back to the original creator, Kat @ Novels & Waffles
- Feel free to use any of the waffle graphics in this post, just make sure to credit Kat (pretty pretty please with lots of maple syrup on top)
- Tag as many people as you want (or don’t want) to. No pressure here, folks

One of the books that I really loved, that I don’t talk about enough, is Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is an older book (first published 20 years ago!) however I still found the story and the main character to be very relatable for me. I can see this book still being talked about in the distant future!

Annie on my Mind was the first ever f/f YA romance that I read. It is about two teenage girls who began as friends and became something more. This book was actually first published in 1982 which I think is pretty awesome!

I’m going to cheat a bit and name a book that I haven’t read yet! I’ve been hearing about The Magnolia Sword in the blogosphere and I am SO curious about it. I loved Mulan (the Disney movie) as a child because it was, at that time, one of the few children’s movies that had an Asian female MC. I loved how Mulan was such a kick-ass character who wasn’t afraid to defy the rules and societal expectations. So bottom line- This book is on my TBR and I am so excited to read it!

When I read Perks of a Wallflower, I fell in love with Charlie right away. He was probably one of the sweetest characters in fiction that I had ever read about 🙂

History is All You Left Me was the first Adam Silvera book that I’ve read, and…… it tore my heart to shreds haha. (But I loved it!) See even the cover is blue!!

This isn’t a “different” book per se but it is different than the usual types of books that I read. Among the Red Stars is a young-adult historical fiction about Russian female pilots during World War II. Historical fiction isn’t usually my jam, but I really loved this book!

Hahaha…. you can count the number of series I’ve finished on the fingers of one hand!! (That’s how bad I am when it comes to series hahaha.) BUT I did stick with Vampire Academy from book 1 to book 6. To be honest, I don’t remember much about what happened (I read this series about 5 years ago or so) but just that I was a super quick binge read and I finished everything in like a week LOL.

Oh oh oh!!! Well. I don’t have much in terms of bookish accessories BUT I just received this wax seal as one of my wedding presents!! I am really excited to use it!!
I tag these awesome people!
- The Orang-Utan Librarian
- Beth @ Reading Every Night
- Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books
